Volunteer Position Guide - 2026
Our volunteer program is essential to the success of our team. The number of shifts required is based on the number of jobs multiplied by the number of meets we have divided by the number of families we had last year. If we have enough families to reduce the required number of shifts, we absolutely will. We will not be able to announce any changes to required shifts until after registration has closed.
Our meets cannot run without our Gator families. There will be a total of 8 shifts required by each family.
1 – Gator Bowl
6 – During Dual Meets (2 of which must be 2nd shift)
1 – Divisionals
The only exception is if the age of ALL your family’s swimmers is between the ages of fifteen (15) and eighteen (18). Those families are exempt from the volunteer requirements.
Any additional shifts worked at Gator Bowl will count towards the required number of shifts within the dual meets.
If you would like to complete your shifts quickly, extra shifts worked during dual meets must be during 2nd shift to count towards the required number of shifts.
There are some jobs available that do not take place during the meets and some season long positions. Signing up for and completing the duties of a season long position will fulfill all your family’s volunteer requirements.
Descriptions for all available positions are found in the Volunteer Guide.
